There are thousands of websites, and probably as many places to visit. Home Educators are often entitled to the school rate, and many offer a Home Educators rate. Here are some of the popular discounts.

Most venues offer the educational rate to groups of Home Educators that have a pre-booked visit. More and more venues are offering a discounted entry rate to individual families, some of these venues ask for proof of Home Education, such as a letter from your LA or a membership card to a Home Education organisation. Our team have worked with thesse venues, explaining that there is no such thing as proof, but most would not change their policy. After all, if you were to ask for carer's rate, you are expected to show proof, or if you are a student, again you are asked.
Venues that ask for 'proof' accept any card from a reputable Home Education organisation. We have therefore created a card available here.
During term time and week days Legoland offers a Home Educators rate.

English Heritage offer free entry to most of their sites for all educators.
They ask that you book in advance online, but many of their sites welcome Home Educators on the same day as ringing to book (each site varies so do check).

You will be able to purchase child tickets at the schools rate of £5, however this is subject to proof of home education. Acceptable proof may be in the form of registration with an official Home Education body or documentation from a local authority.
You will be entitled to 1 free teacher admission for every 10 paid pupils. Additional adults will be required to purchase the standard price tickets, these are £14.50.
There are no term time restrictions with the schools price for Home Educators.
